"People are experts on their own lives and circumstances".
A little man walks up to discuss his problem with the authority figure who has the power to help him. The figure is in the dark and doesn't hear or see him. The little man gets very annoyed at being ignored and steam comes out of his ears.
At this point Media Education steps in and the man is provided with recording equipment to interview the authority figure. He is brought up to the same level as the figure when three steps with the words access, empowerment and training appear below him.
The authority figure realises that the little man is trying to talk to him, turns on the light and replies to him.
The scene zooms out whilst the little man continues to interview the figure and the title "My views, my movie" appears above him.
As the scene zooms out further it becomes apparent the two are on television and are being watched by an audience of decision makers and the little man's peers.
"Good communication builds confidence and helps to create positive change."
