Audio AccessibilityMedia Education provides an audio transcription service. We make text accessible for blind and visually-impaired end-users through producing audio versions of documents. We provide audio transcriptions in various formats including cassette tape and audio CD.Telephone-based Audio ServicesOrganisations have asked us to provide additional access to information aimed at their own staff, people on the move or people who are difficult to reach such as young people. We have all the facilities inhouse to create short audio files which can be accessed directly by individuals from their landline or mobile. It sounds just like radio and can include, music , interviews, news bulletins and features. We offer a voicemail service too so that individuals can leave comments or queries and take part in mini-surveys and our service includes comprehensive reports so that clients can guage the effectiveness of using the service. This approach is very cost-effective, its quick & easy to update and ensures information is always current (unlike printed material). It is DDA3 compliant because it means that blind or visually impaired people or people with difficulties reading can have equal access. We can also offer these services in other languages. |
