Youth & Community : Apex Scotland

Media Education worked in APEX Scotland units in Dumfries, Galashiels, Paisley and Stirling to produce four short films devised and produced by APEX clients. APEX Scotland helps young people who are offenders or are at risk of offending move forward into the job market. APEX provides courses, financial assistance and help with writing CVs and interview technique.

The film project was designed to give the young people a creative outlet for their stories based on their own situations. The resulting films are used by APEX to illustrate the choices that people make in the journey from being unemployable to employment. The films have been screened at local cinemas and other venues.
