Consultation : Craigmillar

Adults from the local housing committee, with support from the local Community Education department, took part in a series of training and community consultation events designed to enable participants to identify the main issues around the regeneration of the area including house design, location of services, possible school closures etc.

They developed their own ideas for involving other residents through interviews and questionaires.

They conducted interviews with local stakeholders and created a 20 minute CD-ROM to stimulate further local debate and present the feelings of residents to local authority officials and Councillors.
