Media Accessibility : Video : SNIP

Media Education produced two videos for the Special Needs Information Point (SNIP), based at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. SNIP is a membership organisation open to anyone requiring information about special needs and to professionals working in related services. They provide detailed information about various conditions and the services available including funding support, equipment suppliers and respite care.

The videos include input from SNIP staff, parents and professionals and cover the work SNIP does in the hospital, in the community, and at local authority and Executive level. One video was designed to inform parents about SNIP and the service it provides, it is available in English, Arabic, Bengali, Cantonese, Punjabi, Urdu and British Sign Language with subtitles. The second video was aimed at professionals and is used primarily for fund-raising.
